Fiduciary Leadership
The ASGERF Board of Trustees consists of dedicated individuals who serve as fiduciaries, ensuring that the fund is managed prudently and in the best interests of all members and beneficiaries. Board Responsibilities
Fiduciary Oversight
Ensure all actions are taken in the best interests of members and beneficiaries, maintaining the highest standards of fiduciary responsibility.
Investment Governance
Establish investment policies and strategies to ensure prudent management of fund assets while meeting long-term obligations to members.
Policy Development
Develop and approve policies governing fund operations, benefit administration, and administrative procedures to ensure effective management.
Financial Oversight
Review financial reports, approve budgets, and monitor the fund's financial health to ensure sustainable operations and benefit payments.
Strategic Planning
Guide the fund's long-term strategic direction and planning to meet the evolving needs of members while maintaining financial sustainability.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in pension fund management and governance.
